Before selecting an internet content filter, it is important to see what is available and choose one that meets your family's needs. The Australian Internet Industry Association (IIA) maintains a list of Family Friendly internet content filters. To qualify for IIA Family Friendly status, a filter must block internet content that is prohibited by the Australian Communications and Media Authority, be easy to install and use, and include technical support.
